03/12/2008 - Brand new Shop Front!

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving this site, we're extremely happy to announce the launch of our new shop front.

The new shop had a whole host of new features that run behind the scenes, as well as a few that sit up front to make life easier for you guys.

We have also redesigned the Airsoft Parts section to make it more logical and easier to find what you're looking for.

Keep an eye out for the new "Wish List" that lets you keep a track of your choice products, as well as the "E-mail to a Friend" for when you spot that perfect item your mates have been looking for.

While we're stocking up our virtual shelves, the shop will be showing most items at "No Stock".  Don't worry, the stores are still full, so you can keep shopping, it's just going  to take a couple of days for the database to fill up.

13/09/2008 - New Store section: Water Purification!

Hot on the heels of our range of Nutrition products, Action Gamers is proud to bring you the new Web-Tex range of Surviva-Pure water filtration systems.
No matter where you are, your body depends on a supply of clean, safe water.  If your supply of drinking water is contaminated it can mean illness, or even death.  While most of us can be happy our home water supply is safe, once you're out in the field, or even just on holiday, you need a little more confidence in this essential resource.

The Web-Tex Surviva-Pure filters are tested to exceed UK Ministry of Defence standards, and are already in use in the UK, USA, South Africa and Australia.

The systems come in 3 designs:

• In-Line filter - designed to fit with most Hydration Pack or Aqua Bladder systems.  Simply cut the feeder pipe, slot the filter into place and any contaminated water in the bladder will be purified as you drink!  This is an ideal piece of kit for the field.
  
• Canteen Waterbottle - in this design, the filter is built into the cap of the bottle.  It really is as simple as that...fill the bottle and drink.  This design is a must have for travellers, backpackers, hikers etc...
  If you're travelling anywhere that you think the water might be a bit dodgy, be it a six month backpacking holiday across Asia, or just a week camping on the Continent, you probably plan to drink pre-bottled water from shops and restaurants; but why spend a fortune in hard earned cash on water shipped in from the French Alps when this little piece of kit will keep you safe no matter where your water comes from!
  
• Survival Straw - the last design in the range.  This 19cm straw could possibly save your life.  It's a straw...you drink through it...no matter where your water came from, by time it's passed through the straw, it's clean.  This is a piece of kit you simply can't afford to leave out of your survival stash bag

An Army marches on its stomach! - well... not literally, but you know what it's like; a full day event to get through and all you have to eat is a soggy cheese sandwich and a half melted choccie bar...
Suffer no longer!...Whether it's days skirmishing, a 24hr MilSim, or a week long hike across the mountains, our new Ration Packs are just the ticket.

Designed by nutritionists to give a specific amount of calories, with meat, vegetarian and gluten free menus, these packs have been used by the likes of Sir Ranulph Fiennes.  It couldn't be easier - the foil packed meals and drinks are dehydrated; Just Add Hot Water (and we've even got the purification tablets for the water!)

You can buy individual meals, drinks and sundries, or go for a full 24 ration pack (contains a full days nutrition and calorie requirements; a Breakfast meal, hot and cold drink sachets, lunch snacks, an evening/main meal and a dessert)

22/06/2008 - Some exciting news  Action Gamers UK and AWA Herts

Exciting news.......Action Gamers will be attending AWA Herts ( www.awaherts.com ) to provide a site shop on Sunday 29th June, and every fortnightly game day afterwards. 
Curly runs a great site (hey...we play there, so it must be worth a visit) so it's worth booking the day with him; then you can pick up some bargains from us, and take 'em out for a field test straight away.

Our online store has now launched but this doesn't mean that we are going to be sitting on our hands now.  For Action Gamers UK, this is the first of a number of phases of feature release.  We're not just a store.  The store is just the beginning.  We have plans to launch a series of woodland and CQB game sites for Airsoft as well as a live roleplaying event.  We also have an Airsoft MilSim concept that's going to make a big change to the way people perceive MilSim and the quality of scenarios and game mechanics.  Site/land owners, please see our Skirmish Site Services page for more information.
